Welcome to Totally Pawsible!

I’m so glad that you are here.

My name is Amanda O’Toole and I’m from a small town in Litchfield County, Connecticut. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT in Integrated Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education in K-12. After graduating, I began my teaching career as a long term substitute for two maternity leaves in both second and third grade. At the same time, I began my Master’s degree from the University of Saint Joseph in Integrated Early Childhood and Special Education. After my year as a long term substitute, I ended up with a position at the school as a first grade teacher and I taught there for two more years. I’ve since completed my Master’s degree and I am a fully certified teacher in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. I am currently studying for my professional dog training certification from CATCH Canine Training Academy. Totally Pawsible was launched after spending 3 years in the classroom.

My favorite part of teaching is connecting with a student and forming relationships with students, while meeting their needs through fun and engaging activities tailored to their learning preferences. Tutoring creates an opportunity for me to apply my teaching skills in a one-on-one environment, helping me target the individuals needs with greater accuracy.

My favorite part of dog training is getting to work with both the dog and the owner(s) in a collaborative team setting. I enjoy getting to work together and learn more about both parties in a one-on-one environment. Dog training creates an opportunity to apply my teaching skills and grow my dog training experience as I pursue my professional dog training certification.

My favorite part of pet sitting is taking care of your four legged family members while you are away. I pawstively love animals and have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, turtles, chickens, and lizard since a young age. I am very flexible and strive to meet your needs in order to provide the best experience for your fur family.

I’m looking forward to working with you!
