Qualifications
I am currently in the process of obtaining my professional dog training certification from CATCH Canine Training Academy. I’ve worked with my own pup Denali on his obedience skills and training from the minute that I adopted him from a rescue at 13 weeks old. My teaching qualifications give me an understanding of the importance of how to be a good educator in order to help provide effective instruction for both people and dogs!
Location
Sessions can either be held virtually or in-person depending on your location. Totally Pawsible is based in Litchfield County, Connecticut. For In-Person sessions Totally Pawsible currently serves Litchfield County, CT and parts of Hartford County, CT. In-Person sessions are required to add the appropriate in-person add on fee which is calculated based on your miles from Barkhamsted, CT.
Puppy Pre-K Sessions- 16 weeks and younger
The Puppy Pre-K sessions are designed for dogs younger than 16 weeks. It reviews the importance of socialization, puppy basics, and how to socialize your pup for the best possible outcome. You’ll learn more about the success to house breaking and crate training. It goes over the importance of the puppies being exposed to loud noises, various objects and varied surfaces.
Puppy Kindergarten Sessions- 16 weeks to 5 months
The Puppy Kindergarten sessions are designed for dogs younger than 5 months. It reviews the importance of socialization, puppy handling, and how to socialize your pup for the best possible outcome. Puppies learn skills such as: sit, look, down, come, stay, and give. You’ll learn more about how to prevent unwanted behaviors and establish a bond with your puppy by using positive reinforcement methods.
Basic Obedience Sessions - 5 months and older
The basic obedience sessions go over how to teach the basic commands with your pup. It continues to emphasize the importance of continued socialization. Puppies learn skills such as: sit, look, down, come, stay, and give. It will review some management and problem solving skills for those unwanted behaviors.
Intermediate Obedience Sessions - 5 months and older
Prerequisite Required - The dog must have completed 12 (60 minute) sessions of basic obedience.
The intermediate obedience sessions go over skills that refine the behavior of a dog that knows the basic obedience commands. There will be an opportunity for increased exposure to distractions which will be key to controlling your pup at a distance. Dogs will learn skills such as: leave it, stand, wait, front, and place.
Additional Training Sessions - 5 months and older

Pricing
Please visit the Schedule Sessions page in order to see the pricing. Pricing varies based on time increments. Individual sessions are offered in 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minute increments. The dog training subscription, offers a total of 240 minutes per month of dog training services which you can schedule in 60 minute increments. If you get a monthly dog training subscription, you’ll end up saving more money! Subscriptions will be renewed each month and an email will be sent to you 7 days prior to the renewal of it. If you need to, you may cancel the subscription prior to it renewing each month.
